INFORMATION:
 

All Food Trucks must remain stationary until the end of the event. Once the event is over and a safe path is cleared, trucks will be permitted to exit the food truck area.

       NOTE:

  • The City of Flatwoods reserves the right not to accept a vendor menu that directly competes with another vendor.

  • All operations stay within the truck (unless approved by the board.)

  • Food trucks and food vendors will provide all required equipment for operations and sales.

  • Setup time can start at 12:00 p.m. and your vehicle must be parked by 1:30 p.m. and ready to sale by 2:45 p.m. on Saturday June 8, 2024. Arrive early to unload for setup and remove your vehicles from the park to an outside parking area by 1:30 p.m. Most vehicles will NOT be allowed to stay as part of your vending area. Entry into the park is between the Senior Center and City Building. 

    BEVERAGE RULES:

  • All food trucks may sell non-alcoholic beverages. All drinks and pricing must be included on the menu submitted with the application.

    ELECTRICITY:

  • Limited Electricity is available. Food trucks must be able to operate independently if needed.

    WASTE:

  • No grease or gray water disposal is available. 

  • No water provided by EVENT.

  • Food truck vendors are responsible for removing debris and ensuring the general cleanliness of the area.

    LEGAL:

  • Food trucks and food vendors are independent contractors. You execute this agreement as independent contractors and shall at times have complete supervision, direction, and control over the services to fulfill requirements. Vendors execute this agreement as independent contractors, not as an employee of the EVENT. Vendors will assume responsibility for  the appropriate payment of payroll taxes and charges under applicable federal and local law. Vendors agree to take complete responsibility for paying the appropriate federal and state taxes as required. Vendors agree to hold harmless the Flatwoods Parks and Recreation Board and City of Flatwoods by providing their own liability insurance to cover any damage or injury caused by the vendor, it's employees and equipment.
