STUDENT CATEGORIES: *for student use only*

Each artist may submit and display three pieces of original art.

Prizes will be given for 1st ($100), 2nd ($50), & 3rd ($50) place. Student categories will be given 1st place for each; Elementary, Middle, and High School. People's Choice ($50) will be given to one overall winner chosen by the public. All art submitted must remain on display until the end of the event (8PM). Registration must be completed by June 7th. Pieces must be delivered to the Flatwoods City Building during business hours by end of day June 7th. The City of Flatwoods reserves the right to take photos or video of the event, artists, attendees, displayed art at any time while setting up, during the event or after. The City of Flatwoods also reserves the right to use these images/video in any marketing, advertising or news related item to promote the City of Flatwoods and the art show. Artwork may be picked up following the event or at the Flatwoods City Building during open hours within two weeks after the event. Artwork not retrieved or left at the City Building after twenty-one days will become the property of the City of Flatwoods. The City of Flatwoods is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE, the City of Flatwoods, the Flatwoods Parks and Recreation board, Staff, or Property Owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss or damage, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while attending or displaying art at the Flatwoods Art's and Eats Festival. These damages include any and all damage, now and future to displayed art.
